Anyways, this is the first time, and possibly the last? time we see a DEFCON Vault release! Pretty cool, and I’m glad to see the Old Skool make it’s way back. I still have trouble prying the ComplexCon exclusive Steve Van Doren Funko Pop! out of resellers hands on eBay, and they have no real connection to SVD or Vans! This pack was supposed to release alongside the rest of the Comf圜ush shoes a few months back, which something else you may not know, the entire Comf圜ush campaign was supposed to launch at ComplexCon, but thankfully that didn’t happen. I wasn’t able to get any official pics until the website went live today, and I was able to get some official press release info from a classified source. Vans’ Pride 2023 collection is now available on the brand’s website.Sorry for the late blog post about these, but DEFCON really does a great job of keeping things classified until go time, and they understand that they’re in high demand, so they try to cater to their loyalists first. ![]() Vans’ Pride 2023 kids’ Classic Checkerboard slip-on sneakers. On a vibrant note, it also includes two size ranges for its white Classic Checkerboard slip-on shoe, each featuring rainbow multicolored checks - a $43 kids’ version and $43 toddler version. Similarly to its adult Old Skool sneakers, a $48 kids’ Old Skool sneaker includes black canvas uppers with rainbow LGBTQIA+ flag-esque embroidery. Rounding out the adults’ line are two iterations of its white canvas Old Skool sneakers, each featuring rubber Stackform outsoles with stacked platform soles printed in multicolored LGBTQIA+ stripes - a $90 high-top Sk8-Hi style and $85 Old Skool style. A $75 black Skate Authentic colorway includes smaller rainbow side stitching, as well as “Skateboarding 4 All!” lettering on its outsoles.
